There’s a Free Edmonton Parent + Kid Drop-in Dance Class Popping up in May & June

Good Women Dance Collective (GWDC) is a creation-based company with a focus is on creating, commissioning and producing innovative new contemporary works that simultaneously challenge and expand our audience. Beginning in May, the collective is offering eight weeks of free, drop-in, Edmonton dance classes for parents and tots under five.

Good Women Dance Collective and Isabelle Rousseau invite you to dance with your baby and preschoolers in free Parent Child Dance Classes, May 6 - June 25. The class is open to children ages 0-5 and all caregivers, of all experience and abilities.

For the little ones, this class includes fun dance activities, choreography, rhythm, rhymes and lots of music. For the parents, this class focuses on breath, weight, balance, elasticity of the musculature and connective tissue, as well as notions of anatomy. The class is respectful of new moms’ needs, and can be restorative.
