Alberta School of Indian Music & Performing Arts – Summer Camp

Alberta School of Indian Music and Performing Arts unveils a vibrant mix of music, dance, art, and craft activities every week from July to August 2026. Each week dives into a different artistic expression — mastering a new dance style (kathak, Bollywood, or traditional), exploring musical styles and instruments (devotional, classical, or Bollywood), or unleashing creativity in art and craft projects, led by experienced instructors passionate about nurturing talent.

Camp Programming (Weekly Themes)

• Bollywood Disco Deewane | July 6-10 | Blends the glitter of classic Bollywood disco with today's high-energy club hits

• Bhajan Bhakti Beats | July 13-17 | Explores traditional devotional Bhajans and the timeless art of devotional music

• Jungle Safari | July 20-24 | Music inspired by the wild, from jungle anthems to playful folk favorites

• Monsoon Melodies | July 27-31 | South Asia's rain-inspired songs, from rhythmic raindrops to soulful melodies

• Bacha Party | August 3-7 | A high-energy week of the catchiest, most fun South Asian songs, kid-led

• Raga Rock | August 10-14 | Blends ancient Indian Raga scales with the energy of rock music

• The Mighty Mantra Makers | August 17-21 | Celebrates the power of voice through epic stories of divine heroes

• Bollywood Red Carpet | August 24-28 | A glamorous movie-premiere theme spotlighting vocal star power and cinema music

• Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Alberta School of Indian Music & Performing Arts)

• Age Groups: Ages 5-9 (1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and Ages 10-15 (9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

• Pricing: Early Bird $185 + GST (register by May 20, 2026) | Regular $200 + GST (after May 20, 2026)
