Bellerose Natural Playground
Introduction to Bellerose Natural Playground (Updated for 2026)
Bellerose is a natural playground in the truest sense: built from Robinia wood, logs, stumps and boulders instead of the usual steel and plastic. It's a smaller, gentler play space rather than a big destination climber, which makes it a great pick for toddlers and younger kids.
Playground Features
Custom natural climbing structure with a slide, built from Robinia wood
Birds nest swing
Crawling pyramid for ground-level climbing and scrambling
Balance bridge and climbers scaled for toddlers and preschoolers
Natural elements throughout with logs, stumps, boulders and plantings for open-ended play (and the most adorable small scale toddler table for picnics)
No two structures alike, thanks to the natural wood grain
Rubber and wood ground covering
Practical Info for Visiting
Accessible surfacing throughout
Adjacent to the river walk trail, so bring scooters or bikes and make an outing of it
This is a small playground — a lovely low-key stop, not a full-day destination climber
Portable toilets nearby
