With three different party packages to choose from, there's a party package for every budget and add-on options with the gamer's lounge, Foam Fighters is a fun option to entertain Tweens and Teens that might not be ready for a full-on paintball party. With so many options available, this one is a great option for a teen birthday party in Edmonton for a large group of guests, who want to try something different.

Clip n Climb

Clip n Climb let tweens and teens, literally climb the walls. Don't sleep on this one for older kids even though the bright colours might make you think it's for the younger crowd. The walls vary in experience levels and different types of climbing and games integrated into each one. There's a party room or you can bring in your own food and drinks but keep in mind that the climbing is usually restricted to one hour for parties. Though the design may feel juvenile, even adults have a ton of fun at Clip n Climb Edmonton.

The Rec Room

There are two packages available for The Rec Room birthday parties. The prices start at $24 per person and include food and gaming tokens for each person at the party. Often you can even get a table set up for the birthday party or for larger groups you can take advantage of the group gathering rooms. Try the bowling alleys, or create a competition and see who can accumulate the highest amount of points in your own version of a gaming tournament - the options are endless for entertainment here.

Fitset Ninja

Parkour! Nina classes! Fitset Ninja is one of the best places for active teens to host a birthday party in Edmonton. The staff members are incredible, and the classes and parties are suitable for kids of all ages (even adults!) Birthday guests will put their skills to the test, challenge themselves and each other, and spend the whole party climbing and scaling the creative parkour courses in the gym.

Surf Club at WEM

Surf Club is a great option that not many people know about! I mean most people don't know that you can go surfing at West Edmonton Mall. Before the waterpark opens you can hit the waves, and plan a party for multiple kids over the age of 12 to learn to serve or practice their skills. You can follow this one up with a celebratory brunch in, or near West Edmonton Mall, or a staycation, to hit the waves later that day.

WEM Waterpark

If surfing isn't your jam, you can always hit up the waterpark for the slides for a birthday party. Birthday parties for up to six kids plus the birthday boy or a girl will run you about $200 making it an affordable day out of the waterpark. Depending on the package you choose you can even get food tubes or a cabana for the birthday celebration. The Cabana provides a great home base for the party, and is well worth the splurge if you’re planning a teen birthday party at World Waterpark.

Escape City

Escape City has the best escape rooms in Edmonton, and is one of our favourite locations for teen birthday parties. These ones are best kept to smaller groups that can experience the escape room together, or two groups that can compete against each other in separate rooms, but it’s a great way to engage the teens in a fun activity during the party. Plus, there are refreshments on site for after!

Cineplex Popcorn Party / Gaming Party

One of the coolest birthday parties we've seen for teens is the Cineplex gaming party. Teens and tweens can load into the theatre and play their favourite video games on the big screen. Not available during Covid, you can opt for a private rental with Cineplex and she was the movie that's gonna play on the big screen. 

Each of the party venues listed above has its own unique features that are enough to catch the eye.
