• Learn about Cats from the Experts
  Do you know the difference between an Exotic Short Hair and a Domestic Short Hair? Come out and meet a variety of cats, and learn all about their traits, personalities, and what it takes to properly care for them with Edmonton Cat Fanciers Club.

• Catch a Search Dog in Action!
  Come check out their mock disaster site and watch as some of society’s unsung heroes show off their skills! This show Heart-warming, hilarious, and full of wow-moments, this express version brings all the fun of Superdogs in a compact - don’t skip this one!

• Meet & Greet with Lynx from KittyMojito
  Get ready to meet the local Instagram legend Lynx, an 18-year-old Bengal cat with a big personality and an even bigger sense of adventure! Stop by the Meet & Greet area to say hello, snap a photo, and hear all about his latest amazing adventures.

• Meet an Exotic Bard at Meika’s
  The Team at Meika’s Safehouse Bird Rehabilation and Rehoming Centre will have some of their own birds for families to interact with at the show. Meika’s Safehouse is a registered charitable organization whose purpose is to rehabilitate and provide a safe and loving environment for any bird in need. They work primarily with Parrots, but you never know what type of exotic bird you’ll find here!

• Pony Rides and Petting Zoo
  Whether you are 8 or 80, playing with, petting and interacting with animals just never gets old! Pop into the Thistle Hill Farm Petting Zoo at the 2026 Edmonton Pet Expo for some pet-therapy and spend some quality, hands-on time with goats, bunnies, birds, and more.

  The Wiener Dog Races are back! Alberta Dachshund Rescue is bring the fan-favourite Wiener Dog Races and it’s a show you’re not going to want to miss. After all - who doesn’t love a bit of friendly competition with teh family?

  Are you looking for a new furry member to add to your family? At the Pet Expo, you’ll find a number of different local rescues and organizations at this year’s show. Come to the pet

  Let the kids burn off some steam with some bouncy castle fun in the Bounce House area at the 2026. Kids can jump, slide, and play while you admire their moves and endless energy! Note: there’s a small fee for children to access the bounce house.
