How much does it cost to visit Blackfalds Abbey Centre? Admission for the whole family is just over $20 – a fantastic deal for a family afternoon or morning of fun, at the outdoor aquatic centre. It’s less expensive than a trip to the water park, and is on the way to many different destinations when you’re exploring Alberta.

Tips for visiting Abbey Centre Waterpark in Blackfalds: 

  • Go early. It’s a fun facility, you’re going to want to get there early to get a spot on one of the loungers - and also to ensure you’re going to be let in, as admission is based on capacity. There are 400 people allowed inside at any given time, and you’ll usually have to wait if you’ve arrived after lunch.

  • Don’t forget the sunscreen. Both the pool, slides and spray park is outdoors

  • Try the 10 ft climbing wall in the Junior pool!

  • Children must be 48tall to ride the waterslides alone. Guests who have not reached the height limit can go down with an adult, or child older than 13.

  • Planning to visit more than once? You can get your hands on a summer pass to make it even more affordable to visit on the regular.

Outdoor Aquatic Centre Features include: leisure pool with a zero depth entrance, the tots area, and 2 water slides. Lane swimmers and divers can take advantage of the 4-lane Jr. Olympic pool (25m) with a 1 metre diving board and all are welcome to relax in the 26-person hot tub.
