Le Petit Chef is Magic on the Plate
Le Petit Chef is the smallest chef in the world. If you’ve seen these immersive tiny-chef led dinners, you’re probably wondering if the magic lives up to the hype. We’re here to tell you, it does. From the moments the lights dim, and the first act is served, there’s mesmerizing moments in an intimate space, delicious - and generously sized - portions and whimsy, right in front of you.
Le Petit Chef and Friends in Edmonton
This immersive dinner show at JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District is a battle between four miniature chefs, with an immersive show that correlates with the course being served. From tiny raviolis rolled in front of you, to the hilarious steak-frites show, your kids will be enamoured with the courses coming up next in Le Petit Chef.
What’s on the menu?
For the kids, Le Petit chef kicks off with a greek salad, a heaping serving of Mac and cheese, followed with a course of two cheeseburger sliders and fries, finished with a decadent brownie. Every part of it delicious (with leftovers to take-home), if you have a more adventurous eater, or budding foodie, we would lean towards ordering the Grand instead.
Grand included menu courses like: marinated tomato salad, truffle ravioli, charcoal spice Alberta beef fillet and a white chocolate matcha mousse. From heirloom tomatoes bursting with flavour and perfectly balanced with prosciutto chips and burrata in the first course, to a perfectly-cooked steak and matcha white chocolate mousse to finish off, there were so many fantastic bites.
Le Petit Chef is an interactive way to have a special occasion meal, celebrate a milestone or experience a whole new way to eat a meal. For families visiting with children, we have a few tips up our sleeve to make your visit even more magical: plan your parking in advance - if you prefer, the JW Marriott Edmonton Ice District offers valet parking. Plan your table, the tables at the dining experience are set for four, if you have more than four people in your family - you can split it. Tables are close enough together for our kids to dine separately, but be close enough to sneak a few bites of the adult course. The room is intimate and the staff are some of the most attentive we’ve experienced in the city.
