Spook & Screen: Drive-In Movie — Sat, Oct 17, Lake Summerside

Headlights off, heater on, popcorn in your lap. Lake Summerside is turning its lot into a Halloween drive-in with a double feature: Hotel Transylvania at 4 PM for the little goblins, then Us at 7:30 for everyone who can handle the dark. $20 per car per showing, or $15 walk-up for up to five people if you bring your own chairs. Food trucks, roaming ghouls, movies under the stars. RSVP required, spots are limited — don't wait on this one.

Know before you go

  • Gates open 3:15 PM for the first film, 6:45 PM for the second. Arrive 30 minutes early; 15-minute grace period after showtime.

  • Staying for both films? Tell staff at check-in and you keep your spot. Only here for the first? You're out by 7:15 PM.

  • Parking is assigned by vehicle size, so check in before you park.

  • The 7:30 feature is a horror film — not a kids' pick.
