The Free Haunted House Edmonton Lines Up For Every October
Every October, the team at 102.3 NOW! Radio clears out their parking lot, takes over the garage and builds a haunted house from scratch. It's free to get in, it raises food for Edmonton's Food Bank, and it's a full-on free scary haunted house experience in Edmonton.
This year's story behind the Now 102.3 Radio Haunted House
The 2026 haunt is built around the Nough family, who hosted a fall harvest fair on their estate in the early 1900s. Townsfolk came every year for games, food and tours of the manor until guests started vanishing. The last fair was held in 1926, the grounds were shut down and the family disappeared.
A hundred years later, people say the manor lights are flickering again, mill bells are ringing and carnival music is drifting across the empty lot. Your job is to walk through and figure out what happened.
Is the haunted house kid-friendly?
This is a full-on haunt with live actors who are very good at their jobs. The station strongly recommends no children under 10, and parents of older kids should use their judgement. Teens and adults who love a scare will have a great time.
Everyone fills out a waiver before going in, and anyone 18 or under needs a parent or guardian with them to sign.
Bring a donation for the
There's no ticket. Instead, bring non-perishable food or a cash donation for Edmonton's Food Bank as your way in. The Food Bank's most-needed items list is a good place to start if you're stocking up.
