Is your child full of energy? Bring them to this active group where they will develop physical literacy through games, music and activities such as dancing, and parachute play. It’s Winter Walk Day. Plan a walk with friends or walk somewhere you would usually hop in the car and drive! WinterActive, a federal government sponsored program, spurred the creation of Alberta's Winter Walk Day in 2006. The goal of the event is to get more Albertans physically active outdoors during the winter.
