Boo at the Zoo at the Edmonton Valley Zoo
Oct 17, 18, 24 & 25, 2026 | Edmonton | Low Scare Halloween Fun
Boo at the Zoo, presented by North Central Co-op, is back at the Edmonton Valley Zoo for two weekends this October. It's a not-so-scary Halloween celebration for all ages, with magical guest characters to meet and trick-or-treat stops for collecting candy as you make your way around the zoo.
The animals get Halloween treats too. Stop by your favourite exhibits to watch them dig into special enrichment snacks, and learn a little about how the zoo supports conservation along the way.
It's all daytime fun with no real scares, which makes it one of the best Halloween outings for toddlers and preschoolers. Come in costume, and book your time slot ahead, since popular times can fill up.
