Little animal lovers can get up close with reptiles, amphibians and bugs when Butterfly Wings n’ Wishes brings its creatures to Spruce Grove for a free drop-in visit.

Kids can meet a tortoise, native and exotic snakes, geckos, frogs and a salamander.

The insect lineup is just as fun: a hissing cockroach, a giant millipede, a mantis, a tarantula, isopods, beetles, plus butterflies and caterpillars.

Admission is free, and donations are welcome. They support the lab’s research and its butterfly education programs across Canada.
