Edmonton celebrates Alberta Day with a free, family-friendly celebration at the Legislature Grounds on Sunday, September 1. The event marks the anniversary of the Alberta Act, which formally established the province in 1905, and brings together music, dance and storytelling that reflect the spirit of the province.

Headliner Jake Mathews leads a lineup spanning two stages. The Main Stage features The Barkells, Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company, Travis Dolter, Kehewin Native Dance Theatre, Maria Dunn, Kita No Taiko, Amy Rebelle, Team Mudra, Martina Dawn, Edmonton Métis Dance Society, 0Stella, Mallory Chipman and Mocking Shadows. The North Stage showcases Rosina Cove, K4TGR4M, Lily Monaghan, Téa G, Cadence Macaraeg, Meera Sylvain, Jordyn Rayne, Roya Camille, Jon Martin and The Heather Network.

The celebration is free and open to all ages, making it an easy outing for families looking to spend a Sunday outdoors under the Alberta sky - with activities all day.
