Got a kid who hums the theme from their favourite show on repeat? This hands-on session lets them write their own.
Using GarageBand on iPad, kids pick a favourite show, book or game and build a theme song for it. They'll learn some rhythm basics, play around with drums, layer in prerecorded loops and then remix the whole thing into something that's theirs.
No iPad at home? No problem; Apple provides one, or kids can bring their own. The session is recommended for ages 8–12, and a parent or guardian needs to stay for the full hour
