Like artists before you, take your practice outdoors and create a watercolour sketch of Churchill Square. Use watercolours to explore different techniques and capture your own colourful view of downtown YEG.

May 9 | Plans and Prototypes

Fold, bend, rip and roll! Use paper to build a mini sculpture or model, inspired by cool buildings and designs. Our brand‑new Children’s Gallery opens today!

May 16 | Splash Day 

Nothing says summer like sunshine, creativity, and friends! Meet your neighbours and weave a friendship bracelet, a classic summer craft to trade with a friend! 

May 23 | Carve, Press, Repeat!

Try your hand at relief printing! Carve a design in foam, press it onto paper and repeat. Create a series of three mini prints to keep or share with friends.
