This free Hallmark-inspired workshop at Michaels is a great pick for teens, or for a parent-and-teen afternoon out.

Attendees roll out clay and shape ornaments with the cookie cutters provided. Then they add texture by pressing in foliage and finish their pieces with paint. The supplies are all ready to go, so all you need to bring is a little holiday spirit.

The workshop is designed for ages 13 and up, and no experience is needed.
