Every September, Alberta Avenue between 90 and 95 Street shrugs off the ordinary and turns into a living, breathing arts district - musicians on corners, dancers in alleys, stilt-walkers weaving through the crowd, and pop-up galleries tucked into spaces you'd usually walk right past. There are artisan markets to browse, food trucks to graze, and enough happening around every corner that you'll keep saying "wait, what's over there?"
The best part? It's completely free. No tickets, no gate, no catch. You just show up and wander. This year marks the 21st time the neighbourhood has pulled this off, and it runs Friday evening through Sunday afternoon — so there's no wrong time to drop in, whether you want the buzzy Saturday energy or a mellow Sunday stroll.
