Get up close with some incredible raptors at Backyard Birds Nature Shop in Spruce Grove! On select Saturdays throughout the fall, winter, and spring, the shop welcomes live birds of prey from the Beaverhill Bird Observatory for a hands-on look at these remarkable animals.
Kids and grown-ups alike will have the chance to see owls, hawks, and falcons up close, learn about their role in our local ecosystems, and ask questions of the knowledgeable handlers on hand. It's a wonderful opportunity for young nature lovers to connect with wildlife they might otherwise only see in books.
Visits run from 11 am to 2 pm on the following Saturdays:

The event is free to attend, though donations to support the Beaverhill Bird Observatory's conservation work are gratefully accepted.
