Made by Marcus is opening its Mill Creek kitchen to parents and kids for a hands-on lesson in the science of ice cream.

In each 90-minute class, you and your child will mix up a base, watch it freeze, and taste as you go. The class wraps up with everyone building a gloriously over-the-top sundae. It’s part science lesson, part dessert, and an easy sell for kids.

Children under 14 must attend with a parent or guardian, and parking is free. The classes are dairy-based, and nuts are offered as a topping, so families managing allergies should keep that in mind.
