For families with young wildlife lovers, this National Geographic Live presentation at the Winspear Centre is a chance to explore the Galápagos without leaving Edmonton.
Ecologist and National Geographic Explorer Sarah Knutie has been doing fieldwork in the islands since 2010. She’ll share stories and stunning images of giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, hammerhead sharks and Darwin’s famous finches. Along the way, she’ll explain how scientists are still uncovering new things in the place that first shaped our understanding of evolution.
The show runs without an intermission, and children 3 and under aren’t admitted. VIP tickets include premium seating and a 30-minute meet and greet with Knutie, with time for questions and photos.
