Make your own recycled collage portrait! This workshop uses easy to find craft supplies (old magazines, paper, glue and scissors) to create unique hand-cut collage self-portraits! Your instructor will demonstrate simple collage techniques that you can use to create a one-of-a-kind self-portrait!
Participants will start with a sketch as the basis for their collage. Your instructor will provide easy people-drawing tutorials, so no drawing experience is necessary. Participants will be guided on sketching, cutting, and assembling their portraits using recycled paper, print, and collage materials. Participants are welcome to create collage portraits of others, or of animals or pets if they prefer! These portraits are cute framed and hung up, they make a great gift, or they can be used as a basis for a stop motion animations!
