RiverWatch Summer Camp

  • Laurier Park Boat Launch Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park Road Northwest Edmonton, Alberta, T5R Canada (map)

Is your 11–15 year old ready for a week filled with safe adventures, real connections to nature, new friendships, and unforgettable experiences that build confidence and curiosity? RiverWatch, the award-winning science program trusted by Alberta teachers for 30 years, has redefined the urban summer camp experience with meaningful adventures that bring the natural world to life.

For over 30 years, RiverWatch has introduced more than 200,000 Alberta students to the North Saskatchewan River through award-winning, hands-on environmental education. Now, for the first time, that same trusted experience is available as a week-long summer camp.

Campers ages 11–15 spend their days rafting with certified RiverWatch guides, exploring wildlife, conducting real water science investigations, making new friends, and discovering Edmonton from an entirely new perspective.

By the end of the week, campers leave with new friendships, stronger confidence, while seeing Edmonton from an unforgettable new perspective.
