Lace up and join Santa on the ice at Glen Allan Recreation Complex for a free family skate, courtesy of Servus Credit Union. Along with skating alongside Santa himself, families can enjoy free skate rentals, a photo opportunity, cookie decorating, hot chocolate, and colouring.
This one's open to all ages, and skate aids are available for little ones (or anyone) still finding their balance. Helmets are recommended, and kids under 8 need to be accompanied by someone 14 or older. Just note that sticks aren't part of this recreational skate — hockey and ringette players can find their practice time during Stick & Skate.
Free and open to the whole family.
