Before the holidays bring a fresh wave of toys into the house, clear out a few your kids have outgrown and trade them for something new to them.

Bring up to five clean, still-usable toys to the City of Edmonton’s Reuse Centre and swap them for toys other families have dropped off. It’s free, and every toy that finds a new home stays out of the landfill.

It’s also an easy way to get kids thinking about reuse, and they get to pick out their own “new” treasures.
