Little ghosts and superheroes can go door to door through history this Halloween at the Fort Heritage Precinct's Historic Village in Fort Saskatchewan.
Museum staff will be waiting on the steps of the homesteads and historic schoolhouses behind the Warden's House, ready to hand out treats to costumed visitors. It's a gentle, walkable way for younger kids to try trick-or-treating, with the bonus of peeking at buildings from Fort Saskatchewan's past.
The event is free and open to all ages, though it's best suited to kids 2 to 12. Children need to be supervised by an adult. If you're already planning to hit Trunk or Treat in the nearby CN Station parking lot, it's an easy add-on to your afternoon.
