LD Edmonton Camp Abilities Summer Day Camp
Camp Abilities is a Summer Day Camp structured for kids who are struggling with keeping friends and interacting with their peers. Participants learn social skills in a safe setting in the morning and then practice what they've learned out in the community in the afternoon — with highly trained staff, lower staff-to-participant ratios than most camps, and individualized attention focused on recognizing and developing each camper's unique gifts and strengths.
Summer Camp Programming
Camp Abilities (Ages 8-12) | A 5-day program specializing in children with ADHD, ASD, Tourette's, and Learning Disabilities (all welcome), combining morning social skills sessions with afternoon community outings such as visiting City of Edmonton facilities, riding Edmonton Transit, swimming, bowling, and other activities the group chooses.
Teen Camp Abilities (Ages 13-18) | The same structure and focus tailored for teens, building social skills, organizational skills, and life skills in a fun environment.
