Clip Clop Edmonton Summer Horse Camps

Clip Clop offers Edmonton-area summer camps for all riders, beginners through returning riders, in a safe, confidence-building environment. Campers learn how to ride, care for, and understand horses through structured, hands-on experiences that help them grow both as riders and as young leaders — with daily riding, horse care and grooming, crafts, games, and horsemanship woven throughout.

Summer Camp Programming

  • All Rider Horse Camp (Ages 5-18) | Grouped by age (5-7, 8-11, 12-14, 15+) and experience. New riders learn to halter, groom, lead, saddle, and bridle horses, ride daily, and care for horses through feeding and watering. Returning riders strengthen riding foundations, build independence in tacking/untacking, deepen their understanding of horse behavior and safety, and take on age-appropriate responsibility in horse care routines.

  • Leadership Program | A separate youth leadership track for older or more experienced riders looking to develop mentorship and horsemanship skills (see Clip Clop's Leadership Program page for full details).

  • Camp Format Options | Half Day AM (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.), Half Day PM (1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.), or Full Day (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
