These camps are updated year-round by the parents on our team - booking the same camps you are. With more than 100 camps featured year-round, you'll find a camp for every child - for every season.
Edmonton Camps by Season
Edmonton Summer Camps
Summer is the big one: nine weeks to cover and the most Edmonton summer camps to choose from. Our flagship guide lists over 100 day camps for kids and teens across STEM, art, sports, dance, theatre, outdoor and animal programs, with ages, dates, costs and registration links. Most Edmonton summer camps open registration in January and February, and the popular weeks are gone by spring.
Edmonton Spring Break Camps
One week, fully covered. Our spring break camps guide rounds up every Edmonton spring break camp and area program, from single-day drop-ins to full-week camps, so the kids stay busy while you stay employed. Spring break 2027 runs March 30 to April 2, and with Good Friday and Easter Monday attached, most families are looking at March 26 through April 4. Registration for Edmonton spring break camps typically opens in January.
Edmonton Winter Break Camps
Almost two weeks off school, and most parents do not have two weeks of holidays. Our winter break guide covers Edmonton winter break camps, holiday programs and drop-in options across the city, including the camps that run between Christmas and New Year's when nearly everything else is closed. Winter break 2026 runs December 21 to 31.
Edmonton Fall Break Camps
The November break sneaks up on everyone. Our fall break guide compares Edmonton fall break camps side by side: STEM, art, sports and flexible one-day camps, with ages, costs and registration dates. Shorter break, smaller selection, and spots go quickly.
Edmonton PD Day Camps
The scattered days are the hardest ones to cover. Edmonton PD day camps let you book a single day rather than a full week, which is what you need for professional development days, Teachers' Convention in late February, and the odd early dismissal. City of Edmonton rec centres, science and tech studios, and play centres all run single-day programs, usually for ages 5 to 12, and they open closer to the date than break camps do. Check your school calendar in September and book the ones you know about now.

Edmonton Camps: Common Questions
When do Edmonton summer camps open for registration?
Most Edmonton summer camps open registration in January and February for the following July and August. City of Edmonton camps through move.learn.play and the highest-demand programs like horse camps and science centre weeks fill fastest. If you are looking in May, expect limited choice.
How much do camps in Edmonton cost?
Full-day Edmonton day camps generally run from around $200 to $450 per week, with half-day and specialty programs sitting outside that range in both directions. City of Edmonton camps are usually the best value, and subsidy programs are available for families who qualify.
Are there camps for teens in Edmonton?
Yes. Several programs in this guide run to age 15, 17 or 18, including STEM and robotics camps, teen maker labs, improv, riding, and university-run sports camps. Filter by category above and check the age pill on each card.
Are there PD day camps in Edmonton?
Yes. Edmonton PD day camps are single-day programs designed for professional development days and Teachers' Convention, so you book the one day you need instead of a full week. City of Edmonton rec centres run them year-round, and several private studios and play centres add PD day programming to their calendars a few weeks ahead. Filter by PD Days above to see them.
