Cartoon Kingdom (The Illustrating Man) brings 31 years of educational arts programming for kids to Edmonton with its Cartoon Workshop — a week of cartooning, art, and creative fun for Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors.

Summer Camp Programming

• Cartooning Workshops | The core program, teaching kids how to draw cartoon characters and develop their illustration skills.

• Clay Model Workshops | Hands-on sculpting and clay modeling activities.

• Manga Art Workshops | Drawing in manga and anime-inspired styles.

• Tattoos & Face Painting Workshops | Creative face painting and temporary tattoo art.

• Art & Craft Workshops | General art and craft projects rounding out the program.

• Comic Strip (Graphic Novel) Workshops | Storytelling through comic strips and graphic novel creation.

  • Short Day Care (9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.): CAD $58 per child/day

  • Long Day Care (8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) or part thereof: CAD $60 per child/day

  • Night Workshop (6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) or part thereof: CAD $30 per child/day

• What to Bring: Lunch (or purchase noodles from the canteen), a bag, and a hat; dinner if attending night sessions
