For Girls By Girls is a free drop-in sports program to help girls ages 8-17 build confidence and encourage their pursuit in sport and recreation. Join us to participate in a variety of sports, games, and skill development exercises. This school year program happens at rotating recreation centres, multiple weeknights and has new sports, every week.

Free Coding Classes at Apple

Every week at Apple free coding classes for kids. With new themes every week, kids will use platforms like Swift Playground to code, create and learn. Designed for kids aged 6-10, there is no cost for the free program, but you’ll have to register in advance. These weekly classes are a great way to learn to use new technology, get a surface interview to coding and software, and connect with other kids. All devices are provided for the workshop - and they’re available at both Apple Store locations in Edmonton: West Edmonton Mall and Southgate Centre.
