Accessible playgrounds are still rare enough that families drive across the city for them — and this one sits quietly behind an elementary school in Sherwood Park's Westboro neighbourhood, which is why half the people who'd love it have never heard of it.
The main structure is built so kids who use wheelchairs, walkers, or just need a gentler route can get up into the play instead of watching from the edge.
Then there's the part nobody tells you about: walk around to the back of the school and there's a second, completely separate playground, with a basketball court.
