5 Edmonton Indoor Swimming Pools with Inflatables for Climbing and Jumping

Swimming with inflatables in the pool makes the whole drop-in swimming experience just that much more fun for kids. Jumping, climbing, bouncing - it doesn’t get much better than that.

Here are 5 Edmonton area Indoor Swimming Pools with Drop-in Inflatable Obstacle Courses

Emerald Hills Leisure Centre
3555 Emerald Dr, Sherwood Park

Emerald Hills Leisure Centre has drop-in swimming with inflatables on a regular basis, almost every weekend. There are even two drop-in swim sessions a month that are completely free. This inflatable is the perfect size for younger children - and we would recommend keeping this one for the under seven crowd - because of the size. The pool here is quieter, warmer and perfect for baby, toddler and preschool swim time.

Millennium Place
2000 Premier Way, Sherwood Park

Drop in to Millennium Place on Saturday afternoons for a fun climb on the inflatables in the pool. This larger scale inflatable is perfect for all ages of kids - challenging for the younger crowd, and still exciting enough for the older kids in your crew. This drop-in swim is fun because you can spend time climbing the inflatable in the pool, and then pop over to the wave pool and lazy river for more pool toy fun!

Grant MacEwan Aquatic Centre
10535 108 St NW, Edmonton

On the first Saturday of the month, you can visit MacEwan for a drop-in swimming session featuring the inflatable in the pool. This lesser-known fun experience is a great way to get active through the winter months. You can stay tuned to the event calendar at Edmonton.family to find the next drop-in date for the Wibit inflatable experience at MacEwan University.

Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre | Opening January 2026
11160 135th St. NW

This Edmonton swimming pool is opening this month - and features one of the longest inflatables that we’ve seen in the city. We can’t wait to jump on this during open swim time! Pictured above. We’re excited for a climbing challenge for the older crowd! The Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre will become part of the Coronation Park Sports and Recreation Centre, which is set to open on January 27, 2026.

Eastglen Leisure Centre
11410 68 St NW
Eastglen Leisure Centre has frequent drop-in two dollar swimming with inflatables in the pool. Eastglen, with its unique salt-water pool, offers many popular drop-in experiences like deep and shallow water aquafit, aquamat, lane swimming, learn to swim lessons for kids and women and girls-only swim opportunities.
