Rio Terrace Community Preschool is a warm and welcoming space where each child’s natural curiosity is encouraged to blossom through play and exploration.
The preschool program is dedicated to fostering a love of learning in every child. Through the power of play, hands-on experiences, outdoor exploration, and the Flight framework, this preschool program empowers children to explore their world, build relationships, and develop the skills and confidence they need to flourish.
Lead by two enthusiastic and experienced preschool teachers with specialized diplomas in early childhood education, bringing expertise and a deep understanding of child development to all of our programs.
The space is a bright and sunny classroom filled with natural light, featuring an indoor climbing wall and slide for active play.
Emergent and play-based learning inspired by the Flight framework, fostering creativity and exploration.
Children will have access to a large outdoor playground and a full-sized indoor gym, providing diverse spaces for movement and play.
There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exploration, connecting children with nature and the world around them.
Rio Terrace Community Preschool is a parent co-operative that values collaboration, community, and active involvement in our preschool environment.
