Baby & Me Aquafit Launches at Two City of Edmonton Recreation Centres

Baby & Me Aquafit in Edmonton

Baby & Me Aquafit is one of the easiest ways to get in a workout, without having to worry about childcare. This week, City of Edmonton launched 45-minute aquatic fitness class to welcome caregivers and babies aged 6 months and up to move, bond, and get out of the house - without overthinking it.

Both locations include pools that are on the warmer side - from our experience - and during the class, parents enjoy low-impact exercise while babies relax nearby in provided baby boats (for little ones between 15–35 lbs). It’s social, energizing, and a great way to meet a new parent pal!

Edmonton Baby & Me Aquafit Class Times & Locations

  • ACT Aquatic & Recreation Centre: Fridays at 11:00 a.m.

  • Jasper Place Leisure Centre: Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m.

There’s no registration and no long-term commitment—just drop in when it works. Parents can meet other caregivers in the same season of life, laugh through the chaos, and still squeeze in movement that feels good, with two options every week.

You can explore all fitness options and register at www.movelearnplay.edmonton.ca.
