  • Mark your calendars for the Little Aspen Playschool Open House on February 11, 2026. Little Aspen Playschool is a parent-run, non-profit playschool that has offered a three hour play-based program in the heart of southwest Edmonton since 1986. At the playschool, two experienced and dedicated teachers create a safe learning environment for three and four year olds with familiar routines, songs, crafts, stories and free play indoors and out.  

  • Tickets are on sale for The Enchanted Stage: Folklore, Rhythm & Roots - a high-energy family event for kids aged 4-12 with an exciting line up of performances representing cultures from around the world. Clap along with lively tunes from an Irish fiddle band, experience the vibrance of traditional lion dancers, find wonder in the form of a roaming magician, and catch Lex Wolfe, Cree storyteller and educator, in a special on-stage performance.
