The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane
Edward Tulane is a rabbit made of fine china. Proud, elegant, and utterly incapable of loving anyone but himself. He lives a life of sheltered luxury until a cruel twist of fate tosses him from the deck of an ocean liner and into the depths of the sea.
So begins a "miraculous" odyssey. Through decades of travel, Edward is passed from the hands of a grieving fisherman to a wandering hobo, and from a struggling brother and sister to the shelf of a doll mender. With every new owner, Edward’s porcelain skin grows more scarred, but his cold heart begins to do the unthinkable: it opens.
