Alberta School of Indian Music and Performing Arts is excited to unveil its summer camp program, offering a vibrant mix of music, dance, art, and craft activities every week from July to August 2026.
This year's camp programming will ignite creativity and inspire students through a variety of engaging themes. Each week, campers will have the opportunity to dive into different artistic expressions, whether it's mastering a new dance style (such as kathak, Bollywood, or traditional), exploring various musical styles and instruments (such as devotional, classical, or Bollywood), or unleashing their imagination in art and craft projects.
Experienced instructors are passionate about nurturing talent and ensuring that every participant has a memorable and enriching summer experience. Join us for a summer filled with fun, learning, and creativity!

Get ready for a high-decibel journey through the best of Bollywood! This week, we’re blending the iconic glitter of Disco Deewane with the high-energy beats of today’s Bollywood Club hits.
Bhajan (Bhakti Beats) | July 13-17
Ages 10-15 (9:30 AM to 12:30 AM) & Ages 5-9 (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

This week, we are going back to the roots. Bhakti Beats is an exploration of traditional Bhajans and the timeless art of devotional Music. Campers will move beyond the screen and into the heart of the “Swar,” discovering how music has been used centuries to tell stories and find peace.
Jungle Safari | July 20-24
Ages 10-15 (9:30 AM to 12:30 AM) & Ages 5-9 (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

This week, we’re following the trail of the Lion and the rhythm of the Elephant. From legendary anthem of the jungle to the playful gallop of folk favorites, campers will discover the. music hidden deep in the wilderness.
Monsoon Melodies | July 27-31
Ages 10-15 (9:30 AM to 12:30 AM) & Ages 5-9 (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

From the rhythmic “pitter-patter” of raindrops on a tin roof to the soulful melodies that float through the misty air, campers will learn how the rain has inspired South Asia’s greatest songs for centuries.
Bacha Party | August 3-7

This week, the kids are in charge! Bacha Party is all about celebrating the “Naughtiest” and most energetic songs in South Asian Music. If it’s catchy, fast, and makes you want to jump around, we’re singing it!
Raga Rock | August 10-14

This week, we’re breaking the rules and blending the ancient scales of Indian Ragas with the electric energy of Rock. It’s a week of soulful “Swaras” and stadium-sized “Strums.”

This week, we’re embarking on a legendary quest! The Mighty Mantra Makers theme is all about the power of the voice and the “Epic” stories of our favorite divine heroes.
