Got a bus enthusiast in the house? ETS is hosting a free open house at Ferrier Garage (8620 58 Ave NW) on Saturday, October 3, from 10am to 3pm — a fun, hands-on morning for families who love all things transit.
Take a walk through the garage, step inside a real bus, and let the kids sit in the driver's seat for a photo-worthy moment. ETS staff will be on hand the whole time to answer questions, big and small.
Since there's no public parking onsite, ETS recommends taking Route 6 Southgate from Davies Transit Centre — it's just a two-minute walk to the garage from the stop, and it runs every 15 minutes. Davies Transit Centre has free parking and is easy to reach by Valley Line train or bus, making it a smooth start to the day.
