FREE Family Nature Nights: Tree Planting for Biodiversity

Nature Alberta and Root for Trees invite you to a fun and educational evening to celebrate the biodiversity in the River Valley at Rundle Park (parking map below). Bring your own mug as we have hired 'The Mule' from the Colombian to provide you with free coffee or tea!

Activities (rotating schedule):

  • Community science nature walk

  • Tree planting workshop

  • Invasive weed pulling workshop

Event Highlights:

  • Learn about local plants and animals.

  • Participate in hands-on conservation activities.

  • Explore the beauty of Edmonton's River Valley.

  • Connect with local environmental organizations such as Protect our Winters and Edmonton River Valley Conservation Coalition and City of Edmonton programs Partners in Parks and Invasive Plant Outreach.
