Edmonton Free Family Nature Nights (updated for 2026)

These evenings are all about simple outdoor fun. Think guided nature walks, hands-on activities for kids, wildlife spotting, campfire stories, and a chance to slow down for a few hours while learning about the local ecosystem from experts.

Free Family Nature Nights are the easiest ways for families to get outside, unplug, and enjoy the city’s natural spaces together.

Family Nature Nights are drop-in events, unless previously mentioned. Plan to arrive early to register to take part in the programming. Programs like the family nature walk, require advance registration. You can find details for each event, below
