As we’re nearing the back to school season - I know a lot of parents are already planning how they’re going to keep the learning on track - in all subjects - but math? That’s the one where a lot of parents need to find outside assistance.

Family Futures Resource Network is a resource centre based in south Edmonton's Summerside neighbourhood. The organization offers one-on-one math tutoring designed to give students exactly the kind of support they need heading back to school and through the school year.

Family Futures Resource Network Math Tutoring for Students from Kindergarten to Grade 9

The program provides in-person tutoring for students from Kindergarten to Grade 9, with lessons aligned to the Alberta Mathematics Curriculum. Sessions are personalized to each child's learning style, pace, and goals, whether that means working through a tricky concept, catching up after a the summer slide, or getting ahead before the concepts picks up speed into the winter. The focus throughout is on building both skills and confidence in a supportive, encouraging setting.

Parents have two options to register:

  • Full school term: Recommended for the strongest results and greater ongoing support.
